What's the point of searching for life on other planets? Either it's there or it isn't. In the first case, looking for it is a waste of money. If it is there, either it's less or it's more intelligent than us. If it's less intelligent, well, who would want anything to do with them? If it's more intelligent, no way will we find them before they find us. In any way, it will be wasted money, amirite?

Some people use the argument, "If someone is old enough to serve our country, they should be able to drink a beer," to show they are in favor of lowering the drinking age. What should happen is, people under the age of 21 who are/have been in the army should be able to legally consume alcohol. Everyone else can wait until they're 21, amirite?
