The reason why the movie wasn't such shit was because Suzanne Collins actually wrote the screenplay along with Gary Ross. I feel like if that didn't happen, they would've ruined it. Considering it is an adaptation, I didn't go into the theatre with high expectations but they really surprised me. The movie was extremely close to the book and the feel of it was the same. Of course some parts were left out, and the ending kind of bugged me, but overall, I thought the film was pretty damn good. Can't wait for Catching Fire!

3 times? Aaaah lucky. Where I live it's only coming out on the 13th of April. Three weeks of agony!

I'd probably stay away from the internet because that's going to be a hot topic for a couple of weeks, and you'll be tortured a whole lot more. Haha, I'd probably go crazy :P The movie already broke the weekend opening record for a nonsequel! It's after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and The Dark Knight.

Wow, I didn't know people were pissed about it. I thought Lenny was perfect as Cinna.

I think the reason why the movie was so good is because Collins actually wrote the script, along with the director, and was involved with the casting and the movie along the way. That was a smart move, considering the movie was so true to the characters and the emotional arcs. It was so smart, in fact, that I saw it three times already...I regret nothing.

I went with my brother and cousins and every single time there was a hint of romance, the majority of the girls in the theater awed out loud. Every single moment. They screamed when Peeta and Gale made their first appearance too, of course.

Yearning glances: "AWWWW!"

Cute-yet-kind-of-cliche lines: "AWWWW!"

Kisses: "OH MY GODDDD!"

I wanted to turn around and slap them. I know the books were pretty good and the movie is as well, but damn. There's more to the story than just Team Peeta and Team Gale, and I don't even think there should be teams, to be honest. The triangle wasn't really a central part in the books or in the movie. This will get old really fast, unfortunately :/

I'd use that money to go to my dream college and get a degree in whatever I want and then I'd buy my parents a new house and stuff they sacrificed to support me. If I still had some money left over, I'd probably use it to travel or build my dream house.

Out of all my friends, I'm the only one that thinks this way. I used to think that I was just weird because everyone just wanted to rush past stuff and I wanted to slow down. Nice to know I'm not the only one :)

I think it's just the point of waiting till you're emotionally/mentally mature enough and doing it with the right person. Waiting till marriage seems a bit...weird to me. I also think that living together before marriage should be fine as well, but that's just me :)

****. I just killed a black widow today in the bathroom and I hit it repeatedly, even after it was already dead, all the while jumping and screaming obscenities. It was the first time I decided to actually kill one so I could get over my fear...

It's back now -_-

Speaking in terms of the Constitution, all citizens of the United States should have the same rights, regardless of ****, race, or religion. Religion shouldn't interfere with a citizen's rights in ANY way. So, yes, gay people should have the right to marry. I'm sick and tired of all the discrimination against homosexual people. How is what we're doing now any different from what we did during the era of slavery, when we didn't accept black people as citizens and continued to discriminate against them for God knows how long? Every person that was born in the United States is a citizen and with that citizenship comes rights. It's really not that hard to comprehend. It's just religion that's making this decision more complicated than it has to be.

Aw, come on, Mulan and Tangled were awesome! Sure, they needed aid from males at some points in the movie, but in the end, they were the ones that really kicked ****. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider= amazingness :)

I could only watch that movie once. It's so intense. But can't he be both a fantastic singer and actor?
