I get the joke, but can someone tell me why the date it was posted was in mid-2010, a time where pictures where not yet relevant here, yet there is clearly a picture of a man in sunglasses driving a car while eating a donut?

I saw this beautiful Mustang once but upon closer inspection I noticed it was an auto. I almost cried.

That's the first thing I check for when I see any mustang. It really proves the cojones of the driver.

If only there was a week set aside where one is not allowed to act upon these urges that we all encounter on a day to day basis.

It's from The Big Bang Theory. It's a really funny show. You should watch it. It airs on Thursday nights on CBS.

Of course you'll het hurt if you go into it with that attitude. I skate and I have the attitude that I won't get hurt, and I end out not seriously hurting myself.

Oh ok, I do get your point (y) sorry if I came off so defensive. I still believe the comment was totally ignorant though, because even if the guy in the suit was up to no good, he shouldn't just automatically be attacked and then it be claimed as self defence and be claimed that they were doing their job.

It's all good. And I think everyone can agree on that guy being a racist ****. I just find these cases that get caught up in the media to be interesting and I enjoy hearing what everyone thinks about them.

It's wrong on the levels that:
1. He defended Zimmerman's actions at all
2. Zimmerman wasn't doing a job, he appointed himself as neighbourhood watch, when he called the police about being suspicious of Trayvon, they told him to not pursue and they would send somebody out.
3. Because a black kid is walking around there is automatically something up? Nuh that's not right.
4.The comment implies that only black people are criminals and now because a young black kid was killed it will send a message out to the community and there won't be any more crime. Trayvon wasn't out of step walking home, there is no message to be sent other than if you're a black kid walking at night you might get shot by some crazy racist ****, and the police are going to do their best not to care.
5. What exactly is supposed to be up with a white guy walking in the projects in a suit? Are people going to be threatened by him? I don't think so.

(Ran out of room on last comment) the main problem with this case is that one of the main witnesses is no longer with us to testify his side of the story. And onto your 5th statement, I am pretty active in law enforcement. I'm studying criminal justice and I go on ride alongs with cops a lot because I'm a memeber of my local Police Explorer groups. I have learned quite a lot about the racial lines between some neighborhoods in my city. I live in St. Louis, which is highly segregated between white and blacks. Most black people live on the North and eastside and most white people live on the south and west side of the city. Whenever there is a white man wearing a suit walking around the north side, he is usually up to no good. Not necessarily a threat, but it more commonly has something to do with drugs. Bit back to the Trayvon Martin case, I personally thing Zimmerman is a murderer and deserves to be locked up for life. However, nobody cares what I think and you can't mix emotions with the law.

For 1 and 2, I agree with both those statements completely. Zimmerman is not a police officer and had no legal authority to follow Trayvon just for appearing suspicious. I also agree with your third statement, mainly because the neighborhood they were in was racially mixed, Zimmerman had no reason at all to believe that Trayvon was out of place or up to no good. Your fourth argument I agree with mostly. The guy who made the comment was just ignorant and a racist. He could have either said that just to troll and for shock value, or he could legitimately be a racist and actually believe what he wrote. The part I'm not agreeing with is the part about the police. They need to have more evidence that can lead to a conviction for the murder of Trayvon before they can actually send him to prison. The thing about Florida is that it is a "stand your ground law" state. Zimmerman was legally allowed to carry that gun and use it if his life felt in danger. The new evidence that the media is just now getting ahold of is that there was a struggle between the two of them and the medical exams matched up with the struggle. So it could have quite possibly been self defense.
