the thing is that i am a smart kid, i have all honors classes and made a 1474 on my SAT which i hear is pretty good... i have all A's with the exception of a B in English. I got the psat scores back today with a 137 and i just need a straight up answer if this is bad.

ps, i really like your picture.

Oh thanks :)
Well, I get all As too, and am also only in honor courses. I haven't taken the SAT yet, but on my PSAT I got a 190. And we have a psat team that all the smart kids get on. It requires a minimum score of 165.

So, yes, I would say 137 is pretty bad.
But, you're a freshman. It's no big deal at all, don't sweat it.

for every omitted question, you dont lose or gain points

for every right answer you recieve 1 point

for every wrong answer you would have i think 1 point deducted

there a three sections: Math, Critical Reading, and Writing Skills

each section has about 48 maximum questions
there are about 130 something questions in all of the test

if all of that helps with statistics of PSATs. I only know this because our Bio teacher is on the college board. AND the highest possible score yu can get is a 240 or something like that

Almost very true. Every answer you get wrong deducts 1/4 of a point, unless it is grid-ins on the math sections.

240, is indeed the highest score possible.
140 is about the average for normal students.
smart kids usually get over 180
and insanely smart kids get over 210. :)

In agreement with bijan311, programmers would die if it wasn't there.
But I used to think the same thing.

aww come on....if it was a true MLIA type post it would have the words "proceeded to", something about awesome old people, about getting asked out in a dorky way, or a really stupid fake story.

um, no... "Exiting the room YOU ARE in when YOU ARE watching a T.V. show or movie" You didn't use it possessively. You didn't say exiting your room. you said the room your in. Which is wrong.

Weird Al's parody song called "Bob" is full of awesome palindromes:
Do geese see god?
Madam, I'm Adam
A toyotas a toyota
Do nine men interpret? Nine men I nod
UFO tofu
may a moody baby doom a yam
never odd or even
too bad I hid a boot
Was it a car or a cat I saw?
God! A red nugget! A fat egg under a dog!
.....and many more--watch it!....
