Guns aren't going anywhere. There is no reason to let emotions run wild and ban firearms. Israel has had no school shooting since it adopted a policy that arms teachers on school grounds almost 40 years ago. Thailand has had school shootings drop drastically since they employed the same policy eight years ago. Kennesaw, Georgia hasn't had a single homicide in 25 years since requiring every household to own a firearm. We need MORE guns in the hands of responsible citizens.

If you insist on committing suicide, don't do it in such gruesome or horrific way so that whoever finds you is horrified or has to clean up the mess you've made. Do it with pills or something. Aside from the peculiarity in the fact objections only arise once it contradicts their religious belief, it doesn't make sense for someone of faith to all of the sudden become staunchly analytic of science and its findings. Say they do find the specific evidence for a scientific theory not to be compelling and even poor evidence altogether; previously, faith was a great virtue. So, it's ironic the skeptics they then become. It's important to discuss, then: Why the double standard? amirite?
