People who don't lock bathroom doors shouldn't be surprised if someone walks in on them, amirite?

My friend was at my house one day and she went to the bathroom. My grandma walked in on her and struck up a conversation. My friend was so embarrassed. It was so funny.

Oh wow she struck up a conversation? That sounds incredibly awkward.

It was awkward for her, but I found it hilarious.

My immediate reaction when I walk into a bathroom is to lock the door, I don't understand people who don't :P

I know! I don't want anyone to walk in on me while I'm in the bathroom!

I went into a house where there was no lock on the bathroom door. I spent the entire time super paranoid that someone was going to walk in and getting myself ready to slam it shut. No one did though *phew!*

People shouldn't walk in even if the door's not locked, because people should at least knock, and provide enough time to receive a response.
What really pisses me off is that some people don't even shut the damn door. Why the hell not?

My mom does this... then gets mad if you walk in? WTF

You can see that the door is closed and there is light coming from underneath it. Assume they are on the toilet if you don't hear shower water, and KNOCK. It's a bathroom for Christ's sake.

If you don't lock the door, don't be surprised when someone walks in. If you don't knock, don't be surprised if someone is in there. It's that simple.
