+13I think before we focus on illegal immigrants we need to make it easier for non-criminals to enter. Think of all the families running for their lives in Mexico from drug cartels only to find there is a hefty fee that they can't afford and several years of waiting. Why punish those just trying to survive? Make it a simple, affordable fee, and a simple process so they can become legal, pay taxes, learn English and be on their way to earning a living in our land of opportunity. As for those already here, have them do the same. If discovered to be illegal, offer them the same process. Why make them go back and be subject to the same violence they were fleeing from? If they refuse the simple process, then I do believe it's time for deportation. Once we have these in place, then is the time to crack down on borders in whatever way we can. What do you think?

-12Guns aren't going anywhere. There is no reason to let emotions run wild and ban firearms. Israel has had no school shooting since it adopted a policy that arms teachers on school grounds almost 40 years ago. Thailand has had school shootings drop drastically since they employed the same policy eight years ago. Kennesaw, Georgia hasn't had a single homicide in 25 years since requiring every household to own a firearm. We need MORE guns in the hands of responsible citizens.

+551The point of the video Kony 2012 was not that we all need to protest and donate to stop something that's been going on for years. The video is an experiment of the internet's power. To see if we can make this video go viral and spread the word to show congress that the special unit deployed to Uganda to stop Joseph Kony (ONE person committing these crimes) needs to finish their mission. The point is that you can make a difference with just a like, a comment or a tweet, amirite?
