+1I think plea bargaining for a lighter sentence should be abolished. I just don't think that we should be bargaining with criminals or going easy on them.

-6I don't think military service should be mandatory, however I do think that ROTC in high school should be mandatory, to give high school students an idea of what serving in the military would really be like.

-8I think we need a 3 strikes policy for all crimes, not just felonies or DUI offenses. If we had a 3 strikes policy for all crimes period, I think it would cut down on crime.

+31I think marijuana is just illegal today because at one time, hemp was in line to replace paper, so paper manufacturers conspired to keep this from happening and started an all out war against marijuana.

+4Some people have argued that domestic oil drilling would lower gas prices, but I don't think so. Now that the big oil companies know how much we're willing to pay, those prices are never going back down.

+82I think all of the plastic products out there should be made to be biodegradable, so they don't waste space in landfills. Products that can't be made as biodegradable should be made to be reused.
