The natives actually welcomed settelers because they believed that the new, powerful presence would scare off the Pequots from attacking other tribes.
The pilgrims actually bought the land from the natives and when land was taken illegally (and there were laws regarding this), there was a trial and, more often than not, the native american won the case and continued living on it.
Even after the land was being sold to the Pilgrims, the native americans were still allowed to hunt on the land becuase this allowed fur and meat to be traded for a mutual benefit.
The idea that the pilgrims were supporters of racism a myth.

War is often necessary, and when it is, if for the right reasons and against the right people, it is not evil.
Oppression of people by their own government is real and occurs is so many countries. When a group of people is suffering from tyrannical government, it is never evil to rid it from power and in its place, build a new one that can truely represent its own people in a non-degrading way.
"Evil" is defined by the absence of morals.
When a government pays no respect to a group of people's beliefs- or even existance, for that matter!- it is, in fact, by definition, evil.
Actually, in the areas where there is the most gun controll, it is found that crime rates have gone up and a large majority of the weapons that have been used to commit those crimes have already been deemed "illegal."
Haha! Thank you! Well I plan on running for congress after I graduate from law school in about 7 years so you could have the opportunity to see more of my words later! :P
I've tried to read read that garbage. In economics, there are four types of resource: land, labor, capital (machinery), and entrepreneurialism. The ideals of communism- and those of the other political groups that Advocare for larger government- cannot satisfy the demand of resources through its policy; entrepreneurs become fewer in numbers due to the lack of incentives to start a business; capital and land become unused because there will be a lack of people who have the ability to fund operation or cultivation; and labor will suffer in numbers because there will be a lack of people who have the means of hiring them.
Soooooo... They aren't accountable already? Hhhmmmm..... Then why is there no one listening to the law?!?! It can't possibly be because they're too intoxicated to think straight!
There are many people in office who don't want the government to be an omnipotent force. Unfortunately, those elected to office more commonly reflect the philosophy of Hobbes rather than of Locke.
Our Founding Fathers wanted the Anerican people to be able to protect themselves from a government that disregarded Constitutional Law. That is why we are granted with the ability to own weapons.
I just copied my comment from below:

Actually, Sarah Palin is one of the most intelligent leaders that we have had. It is really sad that her image has been so contorted by the media.

The natives DID know what they were doing.

Studies have shown that there when the price of something increases, the more affordable it becomes... or not.

I'm reading For the New Intellectual.
I have to admit, I hate her views on religion, but her economic views are amazing!
