Id rather be safe and have a less advanced education system because, with the availability of the internet and books, it's pretty easy to teach yourself.

This website has taught me more than my teachers. And there are thousands of other websites like this.

If a friend tells me that I should not be allowed to get married due to my sexuality or race or religion, it's justifiable that I slap him or her across the face if he or she doesn't listen to reason. amirite?
@1838560

I think that's the way it should be. The government shouldn't be involved in a lot of things that it is.

You wear socks when you sleep, Amirite?

Really? I have to wear socks when I sleep. My feet get so cold.

R.I.P to the 2,976 American people that lost their lives on 9/11 and R.I.P to the 48,644 Afghan and 1,690,903 Iraqi people that paid the ultimate price for a crime they did not commit. Amirite?
@1822091

haha I'm from New York. I didn't exactly mean it how my comment sounded. But apparently everyone disagrees with me, sucks.

If Kristen Stewart can lose her job, risk losing her entire career, fanbase, and respect over cheating on her boyfriend, the fact that Chris Brown is still acknowledged and celebrated is a fucking crime. If you want a prime example of women’s inequality in the media, there it is. amirite?
@GiggityGoo22 Fun fact: Rihanna is still in love with Chris Brown.

I don't get how that's possible. Blinded by love I guess

It's sorta sad that we never really physically touch each other because of those confounded laws of our universe. Amirite?

I think Chris Brown's a bad person, but I don't think it's so much the media being sexist. A lot of fan girls are still in love with him. I've even heard people say Rihanna deserved it. I think that's so terrible

You've been drunk before, amirite?
@TMD_Sam It's interesting to see the different cultures between Brits and Americans, though!

I feel like everyone commenting here is acting like they're too good for alcohol. I keep seeing comments that say stuff like, "I have better things to do than waste my time with that." And I totally agree with you.

Romnesia: the ability of the very rich to forget the context in which they made their money, amirite?
@sighcantthinkofaname Even so, I think if you're trying to be president everything matters. It's annoying how much of a role their...

It should matter whether the candidates are upright. But it doesn't matter how much money they have and how they got it. And by that I mean through inheritance. Because I'm guessing that's what this post is trying to criticize.

Smoking should be made illegal, amirite?

Two of my grandparents have died from lung cancer because they smoked for so long, so trust me when I say that I hate when people smoke. But that still doesn't give us the right to make it illegal. So many people would lose jobs, first of all. And it's a right that people have to do what they want. If someone is smoking on the street, of course I don't wanna be breathing in that smoke, but I can just avoid them. It's a person's choice.

I'm 14. I've never smoked. I've never made out. This is not only acceptable, but normal. amirite?
@TommyUK1234 It's not good, but yeah it's pretty typical.

Yeah, I mean, let's not get ridiculous with this question of "what is normal, really?" There's not just one definition of normal, of course, but some things aren't or at least shouldn't be normal.

If you're gonna spend $700 Million on a memorial of 2400 people, you should spend $3.5 Million on a memorial of 12 Americans that died in the Batman movie theater, amirite?

There are shootings and murders and deaths in general everyday. Why don't we just make memorials for every person that ever dies. 9/11 was different, I think.

You are voting for Romney this election, amirite?
@1832672

I wouldn't know for sure but I'd guess that most religions are against them, considering religion is based strictly on morals. Morally, I think abortion is wrong. But from a political standpoint, it'd be difficult if abortion was illegal. Anyway.

So many humans have an undeserved sense of self importance- seeing themselves as separate and better from the rest of the animal kingdom just because we're smarter than the rest. Someone had to be the smartest, just like someone had to be the strongest, have the longest life span, etc. We are better AT being intelligent, but we are not better BECAUSE we are intelligent, amirite?

But humans have souls. Would you rather your mom die or your pet fish? I know what I'd choose. And you're gonna say that a tree is more important than a human being? I don't think so. Like you said, there are so many different types of animals. But there are also so many different types of humans. Different races, religions, nationalities, even little things like different eye color. But we're all important and unique in some way. I just don't see how you could say we are the same as animals.
