Anyway. You would choose your mom solely based on the fact that you're 'programmed to continue your species?' I would choose my mom because I love her and, in fact, I would choose someone I hate over an animal. Because they're important to someone. As much as you disagree with me and as much as you probably hate religion, we are inherently different from animals because of our intelligence and our ability to know, love, and have emotions. Animals, on the other hand, don't have emotions. They are the ones that are just programmed to continue their species.
Yeah, that's how this country works. (assuming you live in America, btw) We're allowed to vote on what we want how we want. He's entitled to vote based on how he feels and so are you. No infringement of rights there.
Haha I disagree with you there. Life's always gonna be unfair. It's just the way it is.
How could we make life be completely and utterly fair? It's just not possible. And opportunity-wise, I think America's the most fair and accommodating to everyone.
But humans have souls. Would you rather your mom die or your pet fish? I know what I'd choose. And you're gonna say that a tree is more important than a human being? I don't think so. Like you said, there are so many different types of animals. But there are also so many different types of humans. Different races, religions, nationalities, even little things like different eye color. But we're all important and unique in some way. I just don't see how you could say we are the same as animals.
Are you really complaining that the pledge of allegiance says "under God?" Most people don't actually think about what the words are saying. They just say it. But the pledge of allegiance is beautiful. "with liberty and justice for all." And you're not even forced to say it, by law. There is no pressure to be religious at all.
America was heavily founded on religion. The founding fathers were very spiritual people and so was most of our country for a long time. It's only recently that so many people are anti-religion. People always say 'separation of church and state' and it's true that we shouldn't be living in some sort of theocracy, but America is a religious country nevertheless. God bless the USA
I question how smart those Americans are.

Yes it was. It was founded on religious principles.
Were we watching the same debates? Everything Obama says is a lie. That's how he got elected last time and that's what he's doing again.

Please take him

It is so annoying when people accuse Romney of not caring about people when he cares much more than Obama.
I can't stand people who think like this.
You're not in that position and I'm pretty sure you're younger than 20, so.
that America is just killing innocent middle eastern people for absolutely no reason
if we don't retaliate they'll keep coming after us.
