You have at one point wondered if every other human in the world wasn't alive, and that they were activated by your presence somehow; that you were the only person truly experiencing consciousness, Amirite?

I can honestly say I've never thought about that. I feel stupid because so many people have...

To most Christians, the Bible is like a software license. Nobody actually reads it, they just scroll down to the bottom and click "I agree.", amirite?

Actually, people hate on christianity all the time. I'm a christian and maybe I haven't gotten beat up in an alley but I've definitely been mocked for it. Especially on this website, all you see is criticism of christianity. Run-of-the-mill christians are pretty normal people who don't hate gay people, or whatever else people claim about them. It's the small group extremists that ruin the christian name.

If your boyfriend/girlfriend gave you money as a gift, you would feel somewhat unloved because they didn't really put much thought into it, amirite?

I'd rather get money than anything else from other people. But I'd rather my boyfriend give me a five dollar teddy bear or something than a twenty dollar bill.

Size does not dictate beauty, amirite?
It doesn't really make sense why prostitution is illegal. It's the woman's (or man's in some cases) body. They should be able to do what they want with it, and if money changes hands, so what? It's pretty much porn, just with a smaller audience. As long as the sex is consensual, it's really not that big of a deal, amirite?
I visited Amsterdam last summer, where prostitution is legal, and I went to the red light district. It was pretty uncomfortable to begin with because I was with my family. But it was actually unenjoyable because there were prostitutes in glass windows all over the place, but they all looked drugged, like they were about to die. I also got harassed by a bunch of drunk/high guys and the area was just seedy and gross. I feel like the legalization of prostitution would have a bad effect on the society.

Even today in America, where we have a half black president and 'racial equality' blacks are still put in prison more often and die earlier than whites. Young black men are more likely to end up in prison than to graduate college. And the leading cause of death for black men under thirty is homicide. So please don't say that racial justice has been achieved and racial equality is a dead movement, amirite?

Blacks are just as, and maybe even more, racist towards whites.

I'm 14. I've never smoked. I've never made out. This is not only acceptable, but normal. amirite?
You've gotta wonder how the music video for "What Makes you Beautiful" by One Direction can be considered good by anyone, amirite?
Equality for all. It's that simple.
@madib It's a pro- same sex marriage thing. Like an equals sign, I guess.

Yeah, I finally got it after I saw it 2830958 times on facebook. Thanks though!

"...respecting it doesn't necessarily mean agreeing with it" ~Watchful_questioneer

I mean, I don't think watchful_questioneer is the first person to ever say this...

The concept of punishment serves two purposes: to prevent a dangerous criminal from harming others, and to make (or make sure) prisoners know why such crime is wrong. If these two are accomplished, then it is wrong to keep a prisoner behind bars only to provide condolence to those harmed by the crime.

You said "to make sure prisoners know why such a crime is wrong..."
Do you think people that commit crimes don't know they're wrong and why?
I'd think that they know what they're doing is wrong but they do it anyway.

Soccer is actually a great sport, but they should just leave the theatrics to the soap operas, amirite?

Soccer is the greatest.

@VicZinc I am sorry. But I like your idea of god the best. When I was catholic the god was real bad. He hated gays...

"Condemn the sin, not the sinner." God doesn't condemn anyone or cast a person away as soon as he falls into sin. God doesn't hate. He only loves, in the most perfect way. It's true that abortions and homosexuality are morally wrong according to God, but he doesn't "hate gays." He condemns actions, not people. And, because God loves us so much, we are able to repent for our sins and be forgiven because God's all-forgiving. You don't HAVE to do anything you don't want to though. If you want to be closer to God, it is a good idea to go to confession. Also, there are no pitchforks, etc. I don't even know who came up with that stuff. Hell is for people who choose not to be with God or not to love God.

@lana Being ridiculed is not the same as being persecuted. The "Christian name" is ruined because people like you try to...

When did I say I had a hardship? I don't give a fuck who insults me. I didn't claim that my life is miserable because I'm a christian. I just said that people insult Christians for no reason. If you knew anything about Christianity you'd know that the main teaching is to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Therefore, anyone who hates gay people or hates people of different color or anything else like that is not a christian. That's my point. There isn't a problem with christianity, there's a problem with some people who call themselves christians.
