Science is simply a methodology used to investigate the validity of a theory. Theory's are constructed as guesses about how something works. The "scientific method" is to devise experiments that will test the validity of the theory. Well planed and well done experiments either add to or subtract from the validity of the theory. At our primative level if understanding there is no scientific truth. Only theories with different degrees of validity.
