"Faith without work is dead." from the Bible. So we know that there's no point in sitting on our butt doing nothing. We have to help. But praying gives us the strength, resources, and compassion to do so.
wow...um...do you really think that was the smartest comment? I'm a Christian...and I'm pretty sure you are NOT going to convince someone else we're about love and convert them...when you're cussing them out. So...nice job on that one.
and you. You obviously see that we believe in the Bible. There is absolutely no reason to be so rude. Do you see me shoving this down your throat? No. And I apologize for the moron who replied to you. But there's no need to be harsh. Sheesh.
I understand that. I can see how it would be hard for anyone to believe in what they can't see. It's probably easier for me because I grew up in a Christian home. God has always been shown to me. I also believe you won't see or feel Him until you trust Him and ask for your eyes to be opened to His miracles.
And it probably is the same God. The difference being that most people try to conform God to their worldly desires. Not their desires to God.
no...he gave us free will. There's a difference. He still has the power over our lives. It's a complicated thing to grasp. We can make our own choices...but He is still in control of the results and which paths our lives take.
