I had this book on atheists who wrote letters explaining why they were atheist. I had it because I wanted to see what other people's beliefs were. In nearly ever letter the atheists only explained why they didn't believe in a Christian God. I was so pissed, I wanted to learn about their views regarding every religion, but they only really mentioned Christianity.
I emailed my online english teacher, introducing myself.
I said in the email "Hi, I'm Taylor" and asked her a few questions. Also my email is my name.
And yet when she replied she started it off with
"hi tyler".
alrighty, sorry. I just assumed because the post is worded nearly the same as when I heard it elsewhere, I was skeptical that you made it up yourself, but I'll take your word for it.
I guess I just see like ``happy holidays`` isn`t embracing all religions, but rather its ignoring everyone`s relgion. Whereas people actually saying things like merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah without offence is more embracing.
I just think that the world would be better if we could acknowledge each other's religions happily, rather than act like they don't exist. I believe that people saying "happy hanukkah" and "merry christmas" to each other without someone being offended is a much more religious-tolerant world, because than we're actually embracing each others beliefs, rather than ignoring them.
Special talent.
That information is irrelevant to the current state of the cup !
There's a special place in my heart for you <3

Except doing nothing. Doing nothing is easier done than said.

How could you think it was original if you didn't come up with it yourself?
Yea the Canadian side is all dolled-up with pretty things, like Clifton hill, while the American side is kinda of disappointing and haunting.

I'd be very happy if they said happy Hanukkah, they'd be wishing something good for me. Why would someone saying happy hannukkah offend me?
