I won't believe anything a story says, if it might affect my views. I believe the stuff in the book might have started as someone's imagination, and later spiced up. Or, it may have been a story of a normal human being, spiced up with time, of course. I don't know the story properly, but here's an example. The part where Jesus remains dead for 3 days, he might actually have been dead for like 3 minutes. The story evolved into what you read today.
So, have you seen anything except living creatures write? Or say? Even think? NO! And you say the book is God's gift to us. A god you haven't even seen, just read or heard about. There are a lot of ancient books that people claim to be written by some god. You are calling me ignorant. You are saying that the truth is in front of me, and i don't see it, while you are the one just making up things, or believing made up things. I will believe in your theory the day i see a god you describe.
And hey, i told you earlier, that this is a point where our views clash directly and nothing can be done about it, so we better leave it there. It would be my advise again.
Actually, no. We, as human beings, need ego, or confidence, so we can perform well. In order to do that, we use some defense mechanisms unconsciously or subconsciously, like denial. Even if it keeps us from the truth, it gives us something very important.
no, there is no root of evil, actually. we are manufactured with good or evil. We are fundamentally selfish. In a situation where we don't need to be selfish, we are good, and social. So, it's not really the person, it always is the situation. It really is a question of how quickly a situation may turn me into evil.
actually, they're co-dependent. "Heart" is actually the endocrine system. The brain tells it to secrete hormones in order to trigger emotions. So, there isn't any sort of difference between the decisions made by someone, as they are made by these both.
everything a normal guy does, is the result of the situation. A bad guy steals because he needs/wants to. She/he steals so he can buy a cool car. Give her/him a everything he wants, make him filthy rich. He'll improve.
absolute mental authority allows me to do anything, and everything. btw, absolute of it isn't possible, coz there's no limit
Great then, adios

I don't know that. I'm just referring to freespeechfreelancer's "He has all the traits of personhood except a human body"
You don't get it. The bible was written by humans only. It can not be God's book to mankind.

i never trivialised the whole thing. i just meant that the definition of god in there isn't right.
intelligence, is simply the ability to make the best decisions possible, not by guessing. by properly analysing.

Hey, i'm just saying that everything written in a book doesn't have to be true. Some of it might be, other might not.
Okay, you won't change your attitude towards it, nor will i. Lets end it there.
