You would rather give up eating meat than bread, amirite?

I love my meat, but there are so many ways that bread is used. You would severely limit yourself if you couldn't eat bread, because it is used in so much stuff without you even realizing it.

You either absolutely love sushi, or absolutely hate it, amirite?

I've had crappy sushi that I didn't like, so before I make a judgement, I'm going to have to go to an actual sushi place.

You choose to not drink alcohol, amirite?

I'm underage and no one buys it at my house, so I don't have a choice. The only thing I would want to drink a lot of is champagne yum smilie.

It isn't fair that some people have to work for all they get, but others get it handed to them by "Mommy and Daddy", amirite?
@Lolita Life isn't fair.

But the post said that it isn't fair as well.

Part of why you come on this site is to read or participate in debates, amirite?
@Skr3wBall There hasn't been a site better than this one was at its prime, the only think that in my opinion has come close is...

I get that. When the site was at its worst last year, I stayed on hoping that it'll get better again. I think what helped is understanding that the site has changed. There would literally be no reason to go on this site if I couldn't learn to accept and maybe appreciate some of the changes.

I think part of what we have to accept as older users is that the actual content has changed. You can't completely blame the owners of amirite, because a lot of the site's changes are due to the new users. We have a few new ones who are great, and a lot of ridiculously prominent users who are obnoxious, arrogant, and/or post all the irritating posts that I enjoy ranting against. If the site doesn't attract the awesome users that it used to have, there's no point hoping that it will get better, because it won't.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't understand reddit! I feel like I'm missing something whenever I go on that site.

Child leash kids: you are not emotionally scarred, amirite?

I had a previous idea that child leashes were attached from neck to wrist. Since they aren't, I really don't see what the problem is, since it doesn't hurt the child in any way.

It should be the law to have to get a record check done before you're allowed to use an online dating service, amirite?

I understand why you would want that, but people make mistakes. Once people have something on their record, they immediately are written off, even if they have learned from that situation and are attempting to improve their lives and find love.

Life would be better if we were all stick people, amirite?
I think you could fall in love with anyone if you saw the parts of them no one else gets to see. Like if you followed them around invisibly for a day and saw them crying in their bed at night or singing in the shower or humming quietly to themselves as they make a sandwich or even just walking along the street. And even if they were really weird and had no friends at school, I think, after seeing them at their most vulnerable, you wouldn’t be able to help falling in love with them. Amirite?
@Lighten_Up Skins

To be fair, that American show was adapted from the English version of Skins.

nobody actually builds a house and has a family without entering cheats on SIMS, amirite?
@twistedfire I give my families enough to get a decent house. And then I run my family (mostly) cheat free. (I admit to skipping...

I always start out planning to not use cheats. After a few minutes, I'm like, "this is hard" and I use them again.

Sparknotes should not have distracting blogs. It is most commonly used for people who have already procrastinated on their reading, so giving these people more distractions is not going to help. amirite?
We ought to burn money rather than pay for firewood, amirite?

If you live near the woods, you could keep your money and chop your own firewood. If you don't live near the woods, you could buy gas, drive to the woods, and chop your own firewood. Either way, it's cheaper than burning money.

Putting a pretty shirt over your muffin top does not make you a cupcake, amirite?

This post is true because people aren't cupcakes. smirk smilie

Girls: you have used your bra as a pocket atleast once in your life, amirite?

Yeah, but it kind of grosses me out, so I only did it once.
