+135The new Pixar movie Lightyear just came out and so far hasn't been doing well at the box office. However, for me as someone who loves the theatrical experience and is a box office nerd, this movie potentially underperforming scares me. It's mainly because how Pixar's last three movies which were Soul, Luca, and Turning Red all were sent to Disney+ when they were supposed to go to the theater. Lightyear is Pixar's return to movie theaters and if it underperforms, this could spell doom for future Pixar movies coming after Lightyear. Pixar movies should be released in movie theaters, amirite?
