You could also argue that he would have developed those symptoms anyway. You can't just assume it was the marijuana. There are plenty of non-marijuana smokers that this happens to. And "schizophrenia-like symptoms". What does that even mean? I assume you mean suspiciousness, unusual thoughts, paranoia, thought disorder, blunted affect, reduced spontaneity, reduced interaction with the interviewer, and problems with memory and attention. That's called BEING REALLY HIGH! It's true that marijuana can induce "schizophrenia-like symptoms" but that's because being schizophrenic really is like being incredibly high all the time. When schizophrenia was first being studied some doctors would take a does of LSD (much stronger than THC) so they would understand what the patient was experiencing. THC will not cause schizophrenia by any means. But its similarities to its effects could cause someone who already has it to have a schizophrenic episode because their mind will think that it is already taking place. Also the "schizophrenic-like symptoms" only occur at devilishly high doses. To refute all proven medical benefits of something because of one controversial side-effect is irrational.
Don't worry. We understand this is a serious issue and we currently have a large group of Scientist and Linguist working on finding a way to end this epidemic.
It doesn't seem like it due to the gradual increase of the slope, but that mountain right there is about 3 miles tall! http://ctrlv.in/122542
This happened to me over the weekend talking to my cousin about Quantum Physics. I wouldn't say I hyperventilated but I certainly had to catch my breath and slow down a few times.
How big is your house?/How small are your rugs?
I got it. May well have to introduce that to people who may aspire to have a fucket list. I think they'll appreciate it.
The penis comparison certainly isn't fair.
Again. No one said free. I guess I did say "no money involved" but I assumed my obvious hyperbole would not be scrutinised. It does cost. But the price can never really go up. Not exponentially anyway. People aren't going to fight wars over solar and wind energy. And with an unlimited supply the price would be relatively constant.
I didn't say it was. But it is certainly cheaper than oil. For example Hemp can be made in to fuel to run car engines and is also a carbon neutral fuel source. But due to the low production cost of hemp and how easy it is for the average person grow and maintain (for both gas and many other uses) its use has been criminalised in the US because of big business lobbying.
Actually no. There are already plenty of alternative fuels but they are renewable which means there is no money involved. The reason companies try so hard to keep people using oil is because it is limited. It's simple supply and demand. If there is an energy source that can constantly be renewed people wont be willing to pay high dollar for it.
1. Scientist are not known for their grammar or spelling.
2. I make up my own grammar rules so that people can read what I write the way I intended it to be read. Pause when I want you to pause. I also add capitalisation in the middle of sentence on to words I find more important.
How is irrelevant? That's literally what the post was about. How amazing it is that you can remember something from 4 years ago but not 3 days. I gave a legitimate reason why it's not a fair comparison.
