You're in a hotel room. There's no door or windows. It's made of steel. All you have is a baseball and a baseball bat. How do you get out?

Three strikes.

There are 99 penguins in a boat. The boat turns upside down. How many penguins were left?

I disagree with this brainteaser.

Haven't seen this one yet, it's old but good: Three people share a hotel room and pay $30 ($10 each). The clerk realizes that the room is only $25. He gives a bellboy $5 to return to them. They let him (bellboy) keep $2 and they take $1 each. So the men actually spent $27 and the bellboy kept $2. What happened to the other dollar from the original $30?
@VicZinc But if the room cost $25 each would only pay $8.33 not $9 so what up with that?

Well that's exactly what's up. They were each owed $1.66666... or to simplify, 5/3 of a dollar.

Each of the three men kept one dollar, or 3/3.

Each man has 2/3 left over, multiplied by three is 6/3, or the two dollars they gave to the boy.

Has Human Cloning already happened? Not natural identical twins, but laboratory in vitro human cloning? And if it has, is it right?

@Orangies I guess it'd be fun if I could see a true doppelganger but... Well, it's scary. What if the clone evolves and can...

A clone of you would simply have your DNA. It would be like if an identical twin of yours was born right now. Of course clones can think for themselves, just as identical twins don't share one mind.. And your clone would be born as a baby, not a full grown replica of you. So it would be hard to take over the life of someone 20 years your senior. You should fear identical twins more, when it comes to that. Obviously both fears are unreasonable.

Off-topic, but can we all appreciate the irony of amirite's YouTube channel having disabled the votes and comments?

There should be a universal definition of life.

I'm not sure if information management would count. How would you differentiate between AI or actual alien intelligence? And more importantly, is there a need for a distinction? Very interesting.

It is Logically Impossible that a Maximally Great Being Exists.
@pantherfanatic No... Omnipotence does not entail the ability to do the logically impossible. But even if it did, then God could...

I said nothing of the validity of the argument, I merely restated it so Watchful could understand the context of the post.

It is Logically Impossible that a Maximally Great Being Exists.
@Watchful_questioneer How so?

The standard example is "Can God create a rock so heavy that He cannot lift it?" Whether he can or not, he is not omnipotent.

Amirite should not be watered-down or censored. Posts with blunt, harsh opinions spark the best discussions; this site is not intended for little kids, therefore it should not be have to be limited to the type of things you would feel comfortable saying to your grandparents. amirite?

I hope people in a position to make amirite uncensored pay attention to the votes on this post.

What if we're an advanced civilization and the aliens are the primitive ones, amirite?
When your life flashes before your eyes, does that include the blackouts? It'd be your life but with never before seen footage, amirite?

I don't think I want to see any of that. Talk about insult to injury.
