When i think of 9/11, not only do I think of those who lost their lives in the attack, I think of how great our country reacted to it. Instead of cowering in fear like Terrorists wanted us to, we stood up proudly and said "This is OUR country, and you will never break us, you will NEVER change our way of life. As long as there is someone to hold our flag in the air, we will never give in, we will FIGHT." Amirite?
@bay Very cheesy.

your entitled to your opinion i suppose

@What if they were trolls and wanted any reaction. Also it did affect our country they broke us in a way that made...

Yes, but my point is we didnt try to sit around and appease them. I know what a terrorist is, and Al Queda is a terrorist group, and there are other terrorists that would have liked to see us crumble, but we didnt.

Dancers: songs with no recognizable tempo bother you, amirite?

Musicans too, annoys the fuck outta me

Its unnerving to me that anyone would be unnerved by a person choice of music. Its just music, it just happens to contain violent imagery. Its no different than a horror movie, i honestly dont understand why people can watch a movie with violence and be fine with it, but then as soon as theres music with violence in it, they get their panties in a knot. By the way, im not a fan of the band, but i dont like seeing good musicans bashed for song themes.

U.S troops shouldn't be paid millions of dollars. It would make people want to become soldiers just for the money. Someone should choose to be a soldier because they believe in keeping our country safe, not because they want be rich, amirite?

No shit soliders shouldn't be paid millions... But they still deserve more than they get, and politicians deserve less than they do.

It's pathetic when Americans try to justify their country's actions by saying "dropping the atomic bombs in Japan actually saved lives". Those bombs killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people, and America was going to defeat Japan within the next year anyway. So what was the point of destroying an entire generation of Japanese people, and many more to come from radiation poisoning, for the sake of a few extra months? Amirite?

Well, technically, it would be probable for more people to die if we hadn't. We had yet to invade the Japanese mainland, we had only elimanated their navy. The Japanese were bound to following what was called the Code of the Warrior. No soilider was allowed to surrender, or face severe dishonor. Citizens also followed this, meaning that they would try to kill any american soiliders they saw, they would rather die than have their cities taken, and they were all willing to die. Its estimated that at least 3 million or so japanese citizens would have died, not to mention a huge amount of American soiliders. President Harry Truman gave the Japanese an offer to surrender,they didnt. He dropped one bomb, they saw the devasation, still refused to surrender, and then another bomb was dropped, and the USSR declared war on Japan. Emperor Hirohito still had to beg for the surrender. I dont agree with the use of the bomb in any situation, but i believe tactically this was the right move for the US.

Atheists: you measure people you know's intelligence on whether they believe in "God" or are atheist. Amirite?

believing in god or not has nothing to do with intelligence... there are both stupid christians and stupid atheists....

Weed has worse social and mental implications than it does physical, amirite?
@TalkingRice How so? I thought weed was unaddictive and unharmful?

It is. OP is trying to say people who smoke are given a social stigma, and it effects your thoughts, not anything physical like lungs.

If it is socially acceptable for a girl to have a short haircut like a boy, then it should be socially acceptable for a boy to have long hair, amirite?

If its so socially acceptable for a guy to have long hair, then why i cant i walk down the street without people yelling at me from cars to "get a haircut fag" or cant walk around my school without being told to get a haircut, and everytime i talk to someone they must comment on how long my hair is and that it should be shorter?

It's funny how liberals try to keep Christianity out of school because of "religious freedom." And that would work if Christianity were a religion, but it's not. It's a relationship with God, amirite?

If you think Christianity is a relationship with god, and not a religion, then why does it concern you that they keep it out of schools? If it is a "relationship", they can't take it away from you, and it isn't a problem that they can try. And you are also misssing the goals of the law, the laws are there so no teacher can try to convert a child to a religion, not to try to prevent people from believing what they believe. Also, regardless of what a preacher or whatever told you, it is an organized religion, and simply stating it is not with no evidence doesn't prove any point. Facts do not cease to exist simply because they are ignored.

being sucked into a black hole is the best way to die, amirite?

crushed by extreme gravity doesnt seem too great to me...

@Thantophobia In the past ten years, there has been one terrorist attack and one war on terror. In the former, almost 3,000...

If you look at it from that prespective, yes, they won. But if we had not declared war upon terrorist organizations that threaten our security as a nation, we would have been truly afraid. And you cant directly blame a recession on terrorists, there are many factors that contribute to that. Hate isnt fear either for that matter. Those who hate muslims are idiot bigots, not all muslims are terrorists.

@Yeah we went to the Middle East and killed tons of innocent people that had nothing to do with the terrorist attack...

If we killed innocent poeple, it wasn't purposly. Theres always accidental death in war, its a sad fact. If we had been passive, we would only have suffered from more attacks. Thats how I see it anyway.

Depression is not an act. Eating disorders aren't phases. Suicide isn't a coward's escape. Homosexuality isn't a disease. Self-harming is not a cry for attention. People should stop acting like they know everything because the truth is they don't know shit, amirite?

Ohhh the self-righteousness. So the people that claim the things you listed above don't know shit? But you do? What makes you so much better than these people, when you don't know anything more than they do?

Weed has worse social and mental implications than it does physical, amirite?
@Tweetbaby14 It's supposedly physically addictive.

It's not. It has no chance for physical dependency, not it can be a habit forming substance, like coffee.
