Were you educated in the dark ages? This is so ** stupid I can't even express how angry it makes me. Yeah, there is an element of sexual attraction involved. But no man ever, ever, looks at a "sluttily" dressed girl and wants to rape her more than he would look at a covered-up girl and want to rape her, because no-one (except perhaps a very small minority of mentally challenged people) actually loses the ability to control themselves as a result of arrousal. Rapists tend to go for people who look more helpless, with a lower self-esteem, so they're just as likely to target a girl who wraps herself up in hoodies and sweatpants. The difference between wanting consensual and wanting to rape someone IS a power issue. And for most rapists clothing isn't even a factor, they don't even remember what their victim was wearing (read some ** studies). Furthermore, most victims are raped by somebody they already know, not just randomly out of the blue by someone who can't control themselves.
Your kind of thinking is degrading to both men and women - and its completely illogical once you get past the instinctive ****-shaming. You disgust me.

It's called a complisult. Part compliment, part insult. [Jeff] invented them, I coined the term. See what I just did there? That was an explainabrag.

I'm just really awkward with all compliments. (wary) SOMEBODY TELL ME HOW TO RESPOND.

In response to “I'm just really awkward with all compliments...

Follow these steps:

1.) Wear all black, and dye your hair orange.
2.) Have multiple face piercings in odd areas.
3.) Have a well-known criminal record.
4.) Shave one side of your head.
5.) Give people an evil stare when they attempt to make a joke.

Your handling of compliments won't improve, but that will be irrelevant because you'll never get any.

They don't, they're not even doing it to turn a guy on. Not everything a girl does is to make guys think they're attractive.

a) this is a mis-attributed quote to him.

Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
This was used as a motto on the title page of An Historical Review of the Constitution and Government of Pennsylvania. (1759); the book was published by Franklin; its author was Richard Jackson, but Franklin did claim responsibility for some small excerpts(broken link since 2012-04-01) that were used in it.

b) you didn't even get the quote right

c) just because a smart person says something, doesn't make it correct.

Thank God someone posted this. "Friendzoning" is just misogynistic BS. The belief that treating a woman with basic kindness (hint: you should do this to everyone anyway) somehow means you "deserve" a relationship; that she "owes" you. The belief that any relationship other than a romantic/sexual is a failure, because why else would you bother being nice to a woman? It's just an overhyped sense of entitlement. Women do not owe you ****/relationships no matter how nice you are to them.

After the events of the movie Avatar, they met this hispanic Na'vi named Feliz. He was the father of two bluetiful children. He was lovingly referred to as "Feliz, Na'vi Dad."

I usually just add more pictures to the stick people, like hair and clothes. But this way sounds pretty awesome.

Conversely, you could stop after drawing just the head, body, and arms and say, "I hope you're happy. You just killed an amputee with no legs."

Then you go on and on about how he lost his legs serving in the army for his country. How he was a double agent and without him, we would have lost the war countless times and Hitler would rule the world. Then you start on his family: how his wife had terminal cancer and who would raise the children after she was gone now that their father was gone too? They'd become orphans, and very poor ones at that. They were the only two to attend their mother's funeral. Little 9-year-old Becky and her 6-year-old brother Johnny.

Without a family outside of each other, they end up in the streets. Johnny died in a gutter in Becky's arms as people walked by without a passing glance. He looked up into her eyes and with his last dying breath, he whispered, "Becky... I can see Mommy and Daddy... They're calling to me... Becky... I have to go... I have to go... See you again soon..."
She rested her head on his, tears rolling down her face. She slowly drifted off into sleep, never to wake again.

All because you couldn't figure out the word "riffraff."

Think about it, even if the innocent man isn't incarcerated for life, when he gets out it'll still be on his record which will make it even harder to get hired in this already suffering economy.
So really, the rest of his life is screwed.

But when they do convict an innocent man and later find out he wasn't guilty, he gets paid buttloads of money. (At least in Texas.)

"But the main problem I have with the phrase "premarital **" is that I've had , but I've never had premarital . I never plan on getting married, therefore nothing I do can be premarital. I've never had premarital , just like I've never had pre-Bar-Mitzvah , because I never plan on having a Bar Mitzvah; I've never had pre-boat-ownership ** because I never plan on owning a boat. It implies marriage is a goal that everyone should aim for in life, and that simply isn't true - even though the majority of people wish to get married eventually, it isn't something that I, nor a lot of people want, so the timeline of "premarital, marital and (probably) post-marital" shouldn't be considered the absolute norm that everyone is expected to conform to." - Simon
