Oh wow, I'm guessing this post is directed at me...
1) I'm 14, not 12.
2) And I really can't choose if I read them or not, I read both the homepage and the just in, so if they show up there's nothing I can do about it.
3) Next time you have a problem, say it to my face instead of posting about it.

excuse me? I'm aloud to ask god for help without someone saying I'm not christians. Being christian is about asking him for help. And if you didn't ask, and kind of assumed, isint that like taking advantage? And sometimes, its just nice to vent and believe that something can happen. people say that christians shove things down peoples throats, but its the complete opposite on here, people are shoving atheism down peoples throats.

No they're not. Just like you would say" We're not shoving Christianity down people's throats, we're just telling them of a loving God". Atheists are somewhat the same. They say what they believe.
They can't be the ones shoving stuff down your throat when you are the one who continues to read their replies and egg them on.

I would actually, any other religion I would go for and say "I may not agree, but this is America!". Buddist, Hundu, Catholic. It's there right. The reason I'm against a mosque is because Muslims follow a book that tells them to kill the infidels. I'm willing to let any religion who is willing to practice it PEACFULLY. If it I had my way practicing Islam would be illegal.

Other religions = fine, other religions that aren't peacful = bad.

I agree, I don't support them, but they do have the right. I can't do anything about it. You can't tell people they can protest one way but not the other.

But what you want and what is law are two different things. I don't like Islam any more than you do, and I agree that their "faith in god" causes the most **** up events. but most Mulims are peaceful, you could say that they aren't following the Koran up to standards... but it doesn't change the fact that most are peaceful

So would you really ban the practice of Islam? As a militant Atheist, I wish they stopped practicing it, but it's not up to me to stop them if all their doing is reading the Koran and not doing the violent stuff it depicts in the book.

So you're the type of person who would just personally object to the Islamic Center, but not attend protests, or if put in front of you, sign a petition to ban the mosque?

Our Health System is ranked 37th by the U.N.
Our Education System was has always been around 18th, ranked by U.N
Our Life expectancy is ranked 42nd by U.N.
So where's this "greatest country that need no change at all"?

Hmm well most all of the terrorists INTERPRET their religion to go out and blow themselves up. Nobody in Christianity thought they'd get a special place in heaven because they fought in a war.
There also is a HUGE difference in the Crusades. Wanna know it? Because you obviously don't know it right now. The Muslims oppressed the Christians for hundreds of years. They kept them from "evolving" and getting better technology. Thus, the Islam nations were the most advanced. Finally, the Christians were sick of it, and fought to regain control of the land which was previously theirs. They didn't fight to murder others; they fought to save their brethren.
Also, why are you anonymous? Afraid of people? Too weak-minded to let people know your views?

You do know that there are such things as anonymous people? Not everybody has an account.

And while the Crusades may have been fighting against the Muslims, not all of it were.
There were numerous campaigns against pagan Slavs, pagan Balts, Mongols, Russian and Greek Orthodox Christians, Jews, Cassars, Hussites, Waldensian, Old Prussians and political enemies of the pope.
And while it may have been "in goodname", many innocent lives were lost. More than the amount of peopel who died in 9/11
But it doesn't matter does it? Every single life should count.

Yes. Yes, I know that. But we live in North America. We're more civilized than that. They only live lives worse because their country isn't civilized. If they went up to our standards; they would be less willing about execution.
If we went down to their standards; then yes.. you could be killed on the streets of New York for Murder... and stealing... We can say good bye to our Civilized world.

Which is what I've been trying to tell you the whole time.
If they aren't painful enough, how are they even close to equal to the victim's pain? Hence the way you said :
"the convicted murderers should be killed the same way they killed their victim."
"you stab someone to death you should know how it feels, if you shoot someone you should know how it feels," Funny, how is not feeling pain, close to feeling the stabbing of a knife?

Do you think wiki just pulls the info out of their ****? They get it from other websites and then they cite their sources...if you don't trust wiki then go here, http://bjs.ojp.usdoj.gov/conten.../exptyptab.cfm or here http://bjs.ojp.usdoj.gov/index....tp&tid=16. I'm sure you believe that website right? If you're okay with your tax money going to feed and help murderers then that's on you. And yes if you make an innocent person suffer and die, you deserve the exact same thing. They knew they were hurting and killing the person and they did not care whatsoever, so who the hell should care about their lives? The prisons are overpopulated and it would make sense to get rid of useless people rotting in jail wasting money. And I'm 19 and totally shocked that you're 22...you should probably be embarrassed.

"Do you think wiki just pulls the info out of their ****?" Not exactly, but they have a known problem with "context". And yes, those links are websites. Funny, if you had them the whole time, I wonder why you didn't show them in the first place, instead of relying on Wiki.
>"If you're okay with your tax money going to feed and help murderers then that's on you."
Damn straight. Unlike you, I want them to suffer a long painful life, and then die.
>"And yes if you make an innocent person suffer and die, you deserve the exact same thing." So tell me, HOW does an instant death equate to suffering?
That's the thing that makes me feel like I'm talking to an IDIOT.
The WHOLE TIME, you have clearly IGNORED the FACT that: Instant Death does not equal Suffering(5 yr olds know that).
And that you SUFFER way more when you have to live the rest of your life, in a cell, not knowing when you're going to go.
It's amazing how you keep ignoring that.
Pathetic.

This is from wiki:

"In 2006, $68,747,203,000 was spent on corrections.[45] "The average annual operating cost per state inmate in 2001 was $22,650, or $62.05 per day; among facilities operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, it was $22,632 per inmate, or $62.01 per day."

"States spend an estimated 7 percent of their budget on corrections."

"The cost of medical care for inmates is growing by 10 percent annually."

I'm sure you're too young to worry about paying taxes, but your parents are paying for those murderers to receive food and medical care while their victim is dead and the victim's family probably wishes they were. I'm sorry but if you think spending all that money to keep worthless human beings locked in prison is right, then I... don't even know what to say to you.

Then why is it that everyone who gets convicted tries to avoid getting the death penalty? Hmmm... I know I would rather spend my life in prison being able to still talk to my family and other inmates, not really fair since the victims family can never talk to their loved one again. And only around 1,000 people have been put to death since the 70's which is nowhere near the number of people who committed horrible murders. And a big point I've been trying to make that you continue to avoid...OUR TAX MONEY PAYS FOR THOSE MURDERERS TO EAT AND LIVE. So which one would you choose tablelamp, life in prison or lethal injection? And I meant they instantly die after they commit the murder, and they should be killed the same way they killed their victim. And obviously life in jail isn't too bad cause it doesn't stop a lot of people from committing the crime. I don't think them sitting in prison wasting space and tax money is the right choice...

You do know that Capital Punishment is happening? So I don't know what you are putting your statement for. If you believe that there are still too many people murdering.. well, death penalty isn't working then, eh?
"they should be killed the same way they killed their victim." Actually, the murders that get the biggest support for death penalty is the way the victim had to Suffer, not just the amount of fatality.
So yes, I do feel they should be killed the same way they killed their victims; Slowly, painfully, and in Agony. ;)
