Actually, the X rating in the U.S. is now called NC-17. Unrated means exactly that, it wasn't rated.

There is a difference between "before the first Harry Potter movie was released" and "before you watched the first movie". That's the only reason I YYAed.

Yes, that's what I was intending. I decided to make this post because a friend of mine was complaining about the people who never heard of The Hunger Games until the movie came out, so I was curious to see how this applied to Harry Potter.

Sorry about that. I suppose that the word "counterproductive" is a lot more representative of what I was trying to say. I'll try to get my post edited.

My grade 9 math class had a bin of graphing calculators that we could borrow. I loved borrowing them, entering messages, and putting them back for the next person who would pick them up.

"It's quite interesting how switching the words "up" and "down" around in a sentence can totally change the meaning."

I do think JK Rowling is the better author, but this reason doesn't really make sense. If you write a book where a lot of characters die, is it automatically better than one where no one dies?

The K-8 school I attended had yellow school buses, although it was very close to my house so I just walked. When I entered high school I took public transit, so I've never been in a yellow school bus ever.

There probably are other countries out there with ketchup chips, but they seem to be most common in Canada. Plus, if you live in the U.S.A., Canada is probably the easiest country to visit.
