You have to be at least 17 to see an R rated movie and 18 to see an X rated movie. How much do they think you'll mature in that one year, amirite?

Alright, 1.You can be any age to see an R rated movie if you have parental supervision. 2.They don't call them X movies anymore, they call them Unrated.

Actually, the X rating in the U.S. is now called NC-17. Unrated means exactly that, it wasn't rated.

There is a difference between "before the first Harry Potter movie was released" and "before you watched the first movie". That's the only reason I YYAed.

Yes, that's what I was intending. I decided to make this post because a friend of mine was complaining about the people who never heard of The Hunger Games until the movie came out, so I was curious to see how this applied to Harry Potter.

Sorry about that. I suppose that the word "counterproductive" is a lot more representative of what I was trying to say. I'll try to get my post edited.

My grade 9 math class had a bin of graphing calculators that we could borrow. I loved borrowing them, entering messages, and putting them back for the next person who would pick them up.

It's quite interesting how switching the words "up" and "down" around in a sentence can totally change the meaning. For instance, take the inspirational quote, "It doesn't matter if you got knocked down, it only matters that you got up." Amirite?

Never did he say changing words to their antonyms, he said switching the words "up" and "down." And he said it was funny, not that it changes the meaning. You may want to read the post again.

One of the reasons that JK Rowling is a better author than Stephanie Meyer is because JK Rowling isn't afraid to kill her characters unlike Stephanie Meyer who makes sure that none of the "good" characters die, amirite?

I do think JK Rowling is the better author, but this reason doesn't really make sense. If you write a book where a lot of characters die, is it automatically better than one where no one dies?

If you think about it, "Avatar" and "The Ant Bully" are pretty similar. 1) One guy keeps invading/attacking the people. 2) He must learn their "ways" 3) A girl teaches him 4) They end up learning and they change "what team they're playing for" 5) They defend them in a time of need, amirite?

To get past the wikipedia blackout, just google the page and view the cached image of the page...yet it kinda ruins the point of the whole protest but shows us Americans will try anything to get to our sites, amirite?

...Right from the "Learn more" section from Wikipedia's blackout page:
"During the blackout, Wikipedia is accessible on mobile devices and smart phones. You can also view Wikipedia normally by disabling JavaScript in your browser, as explained on this Technical FAQ page. Our purpose here isn't to make it completely impossible for people to read Wikipedia, and it's okay for you to circumvent the blackout. We just want to make sure you see our message."
So they don't mind people getting past the block.

The K-8 school I attended had yellow school buses, although it was very close to my house so I just walked. When I entered high school I took public transit, so I've never been in a yellow school bus ever.

There probably are other countries out there with ketchup chips, but they seem to be most common in Canada. Plus, if you live in the U.S.A., Canada is probably the easiest country to visit.
