Today, Sharon said to me, “Honey, get off your rear and fix that gutter downspout! And, I want it done before the end of the day!" Well, as you all know, at my age, most of my friends and I are retired and have the time to address such "Honey do's". So, I invited some of my neighborhood buddies over to help with the project. One is a sheet metal fabricator. One brought his welder, one brought beer and Nachos. One brought a grill and burgers. It took us about 6 hours and 40-50 beers, but we got it done just as we finished off the last of the beer and burgers. Sharon still isn’t happy! I can't understand, because the guys love it. Personally, I can't wait for rain. More

+9Being 19 years old I find it odd that I constantly wish that I were born in a different generation. I can barely relate to the people my age and it seems like my aspirations and goals completely differ as opposed to all of my peers. It feels like most of my generation and below stand for shallow superficial lifestyles and promote confident ignorance. I feel like a lone wolf in a pack of rabid diseased dogs.
