+245Conservatives say that the government is "too big" and "interfering in people's personal lives" by taxing them and providing health care...but what is more invasive in people's personal lives than telling them whom they can and can't marry and whether or not they can get an abortion? amirite?
+3It seems like those that tell me we need to bear arms to guard against a tyrannical government, are the same ones that insist I honor my president, my flag, our warriors, &c. They erect statues to men who took up arms attempting to set the union asunder, yet they disparage those who chant slogans suggesting violent overthrow. It all seems very hypocritical to me.
+343In a truly modern version of Monopoly, all the dollar amounts would have about six more zeros, "Free Parking" would be replaced with "Non-Union Labor", absolutely no cash would be involved at any time, all pieces would be replaced with different-colored Lamborghinis, the board would be plastered with advertisements for real-life companies, and players would be able to buy the government, amirite?
+4Here is my prediction: Trump and Putin will indeed negotiate, they will attempt to divide the world much like two mob-bosses divide a city. They will try to rule via protection racket, control the drug (pharma) traffic and to profit from all trade deals. His talk about NATO/UN being obsolete, the seemingly contradictory statements about nukes, and his cabinet appointments all make sense now. More
+659Instead of putting extra taxes on fast food/junk food to combat obesity, the government should reduce the tax on healthy food, amirite?
+5Trump claims Obama wiretapped Trump Tower. Five issues here: 1- a president cannot order a wiretape. 2- in October The Guardian broke the news that FISA (foreign intelligence surveillance court) had granted the wiretap. 3- Republicans have continuously reenacted FISA saying it is a national security requirement even as Democrats have continuously tried to claim it was an invasion of privacy and should be eliminated. 4- Revealing the existence of a FISA wiretap is the same as disclosing top secret intelligence (worse than anything Hilary is accused of). 5- FISA, in theory, only orders these wiretaps in cases of strong evidence that a foreign government has infiltrated America and is operating a covert operation on US soil. So... it seems like Trump’s accusation is actually a violation of his sworn duty to protect national security, and perhaps an admission that there is in fact strong evidence of covert foreign activity inside of Trump Tower.
Continuous blame of the previous government not only shows lack of class but gets tiresome. We just wish you'd get on with it.
+889The Government should post their ideas on here then we could all agree or disagree on whether or not its a good idea, amirite?
