My mother grew up a few miles from Jeffrey Dahmer. He was only a few years older than she is. She doesn't remember ever meeting him but still.

I'm Kelly, which has always felt like such a cheerleader name to me. I'd prefer something from a book, like Alice or Yvaine.

It doesn't matter whether or not the government recognizes your marriage, a truth does not depend on a government endorsement to be true. have a private ceremony, be married, and stop bitching that people won't let you, amirite?

See, I'm pretty young. Too young to get married, y'know? So this issue isn't such a big deal to me right now. I don't feel particularly discriminated against at this moment in time.

But if/when I do decide to get married, I want to be able to call her my wife, and I want to have all the legal standings of any other couple. To me, that shouldn't be too much to ask. In fact, it seems pretty damn reasonable to me. That's all I have to say on the matter.

I like violins. They are so versatile because they can go from being the really intense background in a good rap song to being the most peaceful part of an orchestra piece. amirite?
I don't understand why gay kids and lesbians have to "come out" to their parents and friends. I didn't sit my mom down one day and was like "listen mom...I'm straight" its dumb. Just bring your girlfriend/boyfriend home and if your parents aren't accepting of it, then forget them. Because what kind of parents are they anyway, amirite?

In our culture, you're straight until proven gay.

@Thomas Yeah, I hate it when my classmates play open E instead of E on the A string. It sounds so bad.

Oh I agree. Our violins have this annoying passtime of putting their fingers as far down on the fingerboard as they can and playing this terrible note. So my opinion of violins has been kinda tainted.

@Thomas they can also be the most tensing.

At least they aren't shrill like violins so often are.

Violas are the most relaxing part of the orchestra.

There's no such thong as a suicide "attempt". If you really want to die, it's not that hard. If you fail at it, especially more than once, it was on purpose, amirite?

I've been bodily tackled before, and I was legitimately trying. I kicked and hit my best friend in an attempt to get free.

Sirius is your favorite Harry Potter character, amirite?

McGonagall and Tonks.

I don't understand how people see Romeo & Juliet as romantic. It's a story about two underaged children who disobeyed their parents direct orders and ended up killing themselves over one another even though they had known each other for roughly two weeks, causing (presumably) years of mental grief and suffering to all of their loved ones that they selfishly disregarded in their retarded quest for...love? It's pretty fucking retarded, amirite?

Romeo was also a lot older than Juliet, and was "in love" with another girl days before meeting her.

I love Shakespeare, don't get me wrong. Just not this play.

I'm not the only one who laughed during The Hunger Games when Rue and Katniss were eating the "fried chicken", amirite?

I can't even explain why this ticks me off so much.
