I took AP courses and everything and did well in High School, and went to a University, and then transferred to a tech school for a degree, which I'm now finishing. Then, I'm starting another degree to transfer back to the same University for a full Bachelors and Masters. I'll be in school until I die. That's why I vote tech schools now.. Get your general credits out of the way and figure out what you want to do!
