+839Our education system is less about learning than it is about superficially showing that we've learned something. Standardized tests are proof of this. You get shoved a whole textbook of factoids, and then you regurgitate it all in a three hour test at the end of the year. Rarely are we taught the significance and purpose of what we learn; we learn just to show that we've learned. Our educational system goes for the cheap-shot quicky: here's a fact. Memorize it. Repeat it. This is education. amirite?
+39Going on an old account from an old site you made years ago is depressing. All the connections you had with the people are lost. All that squandered time and wasted ambition and effort logging on the site/game are in vain. The site/game was built and maintained through this relationship with people, but no one goes on anymore and the interaction is dead.It is especially sad in the sense that it makes you wonder:What about the future? Will everyone/thing I hold dear to me today be worthless tomorrow? amirite?

-13People become athiests because the view of the existence of God seems irrational, however, although this implies a better understanding, this view disregards the the fundamentals of religion: Where do we go when we die? To simply ignore and disregard religion based on the fact that it is "irrational" does not explain the ultimate taboo of death. amirite?
